Scan-IT to Office is an efficient, cloud-based solution for mobile data acquisition. The solution forwards data collected remotely with the Scan-IT to Office app (Android/iOS) in real-time to arbitrary documents, applications, databases and other systems.

    Root cause: Microsoft identified a change in behavior of one of the Azure security monitoring services agents used by Scan-IT to Office infrastructure. This issue was mitigated by Microsoft.

    The Scan-IT to Office servers experienced some service degradations such as unexpected failovers, timeouts and intermittent connectivity issues.

    The root cause is beeing investigated by the cloud provider (Microsoft Azure). We will provide an update when more information is available.

    The dropouts are caused by hardware failures in the monitoring infrastructure. The availability of the Scan-IT to Office system itself was not affected.

    The root cause was maintenance done by our hosting provider which caused a restart of a backend service.
